A heartseeking amulet allows your weapon to pierce armor and scaled hides as if they were air. When you activate this amulet, the next melee attack you make is made as a melee touch attack instead. If you don’t make a melee attack by the end of your turn, the effect is wasted.

Name: Joseph, Joe for short. A deep green crystal, smaller then most psicrystals. He's a halfling's after all. It's shot through with silver veins. Joe is actually quite refined looking, as far as cut goes. He's the shape of an obelisk but with a point on both ends.
Personality: Hero - We all want to be heroes, and the psicrystal with this implanted splinter personality is that desire personified. Given to urging the owner into dangerous situations, it pays back its owner with fortitude in moments of difficulty.
Secondary Personality: Resolved - Resolution is a quality everyone wishes he or she had, and this psicrystal has it in spades. It is fi rm in purpose and belief, and its advice and observations are characterized by fierce determination. Or, as its owner might say, it is a stubborn so-and-so. Still, this unshakable faith aids the owner in all contests of will.

Character History:
Abby was a normal child, mostly. It was clear when she was just a tiny thing that there was something special about her though she was afraid others might make fun of her. She kept her talent hidden, practicing the magic that she had a natural affinity for. She never had the need to read so never bothered learning. That would take time away from exploring what all magic she could do. As soon as she was old enough, she left her home. Her parents, two older brothers and one younger sister, were glad to see her go. Not out of malice, just because they knew they wouldn't be able to keep her still or happy if they made her stay.
She made her way to Avalon, her first big city! Not her first city. The little city where she grew up was about the same, only everything the size for her kind.

A: Appearance

She's a very short halfling. She's shorter than the norm. She's in her early adulthood by halfling standards. Her skin's a nice peachy color, she's cute… alarmingly cute actually.

She has horns on her head, small ones. Catlike eyes that glow green, and a thin tail that ends in a spade tip.

No, she doesn't, really. She's extremely cute. It makes people stop and stare as if she were more beautiful than cute, though.

Abby was born during the summer.

Her parents were typical halflings. They ate, had fun, and worked on a little farm. Her father wanted to be part of the guard, but he was too old. They wouldn't let him join. He was a sad halfling.

She has two older brothers and a younger sister. Her brothers were born in winter, her sister in fall. Her brothers have gone off to explore, her sister joined the guard at their father's urging.

She knows EVERYONE of her extended family. Halflings are like that. Even her great great great grandfather. He's abyssal…

She gets along with her family really well. Even her great great great grandfather. She's charismatic enough to get along with anybody, no matter who they are.

She served under Jacobs, a jeweler in Avalon, to learn how to cut gems and Yuria has helped her with embedding the ones she cuts and with her psionic nature, too. They're both continuing.

Yuria and Jacobs. Yuria is an elan, she's very nice and shares a body with Sally. Jacobs is a little grumpy but he always has a smile for Abby.

Not that Abby is aware of, she'd likely get along with them, though.

She learned to read because she hated having everyone read things for her. It took a while but it was a great accomplishment.

Yes, she makes jewelry for people in Avalon. She works for Jacobs and it takes up most of her daytime time.

She had way too many friends to remember them all. She'll make friends with a rock if given the chance.

She believes that they are all still alive, and if she saw them again it would be as if no time has passed at all. That's just how Abby is.

Her best friend is Eddie. He's her mate and her friend and the father of her son, EJ (Eddie Jr.)

Yes. She's in love with Eddie and they live together happily. They're free to seek out other sexual partners should they want to, but they are very in love with each other. It's sweet, really!

Abby was a normal child, mostly. It was clear when she was just a tiny thing that there was something special about her though she was afraid others might make fun of her. She kept her talent hidden, practicing the magic that she had a natural affinity for. She never had the need to read so never bothered learning. That would take time away from exploring what all magic she could do. As soon as she was old enough, she left her home. Her parents, two older brothers and one younger sister, were glad to see her go. Not out of malice, just because they knew they wouldn't be able to keep her still or happy if they made her stay.
She made her way to Avalon, her first big city! Not her first city. The little city where she grew up was about the same, only everything the size for her kind.
