Ongoing: Requests For Player Work - Rep Opportunities is always available for those who want to contribute to the setting and earn REP doing it. Be sure to check it out. If you do have ideas, please contact an op to see how to work your ideas into the setting, and to get REP for them after they are complete.

November 7, 2012 The languages of Therafim have been updated, adding three new human languages. This should be the final form of the language page, as no new additions are planned beyond these three.

November 6, 2012 The Therafim site is being gradually updated to be more Pathfinder compatible. If anyone wishes to assist with this effort, please contact Gideon Kalve Jarvis and inform him of your intentions and efforts. Races and classes will be the first items for updating, followed by feats and spells. The beastfolk have already been upgraded for Pathfinder, and other races will follow.

June 12, 2012 A Brief History of Therafim has been modified as a preparation for the advent of rearranging the gods of Therafim. Also, Therafim itself has gone largely inactive as a roleplaying site. While the roleplaying channels have not yet been shut down, activity and staff support are fairly limited at this time, and so players are left mostly to their own devices. It is likely that Therafim will be left up as a setting for games, especially tabletop games, occasional roleplaying, and fiction, but not for an online roleplaying community as it was in the past. This may change in the future, but should not be counted upon. If you still want to be a member of the site, please pm Gideon Kalve Jarvis (his username on Wikidot) for the password to join, or else locate one of the remaining active staff.

"That is not dead which can eternal lie,
in strange aeons even death may die."

May 1, 2012 We will be moving to the Darkmyst server in the near future. Expect it within a week or two at present rates of change. Also, the Channel Staff page has undergone some significant changes.

April 25, 2012 The channel is back in Gideon's hands. Hopey is there for channel and Wiki maintenance. If you have concerns about either one of those, please come to her about it. Otherwise… go to an op. Thank you and enjoy your gaming experience! :D

April 19th, 2012 The new changes to the Player Tiers has been officially ratified, also a new level of quest runner is now available for those few who have the desire to run that one campaign they long to run. The Campaign Manager is now available to current quest runners.

April 15th, 2012 Wanna earn some extra rep? Got some quest ideas you'd like to run? We're looking for quest runners willing to run quests on a regular basis (once a week for instance). If this is something that interests you, please see Lisa or Seren.

April 08th, 2012 Our quest runners are to be reminded of this: A DM can refuse a player from his or her quest for any reason, be it personal or otherwise WITHIN REASON, and do not have to run quests for problematic players. This includes players who intentionally break quests for their amusement, are disrespectful to QRs and DMs, or twink out their characters to the point where running them would be a detriment to everyone's enjoyment.

If you have that one player you can't stand for whatever the reason, no one can make you run them, not even the staff.

April 7th, 2012 In the every changing world of Therafim, nothing stays the same. The advent of steam technology is on the horizon.

April 2nd, 2012 Gah… don't edit pages that aren't your's and aren't Player Characters or Quest pages, k? I'll do bad things to you if you do…

March 20th, 2012 Since we have run into a few instances of people adding XP to their character sheet and not posting UP/REP spending in the proper places, nor are they waiting for the master XP list to be updated before simply updating their sheets themselves the following will occur if you are found to have done so without good reason.

First Occurrence: Work with player to ensure character is at correct XP on the master XP list. This means checking for missed UP/REP spending, missing Quest XP, incorrect crafting XP spending, etc etc. If the master list is correct, character sheet will be corrected and player warned about proper procedure.
Second Occurrence: Stronger Warning followed by reducing the offending character to minimum XP for their currently stated level, and a loss of first REP then UP (if not enough REP is available) equal to the amount of XP needed to get their character from where they currently are on the master XP list to the minimum amount needed for the stated level on their sheet. No GP is gained by UP lost in this manner.
Third Occurrence: Immediate rollback of character sheet to level stated on master XP list, loss of REP followed by UP as if said REP/UP had been spent on XP for character, and loss of XP until they are at the minimum requirement for their current level (According to the master XP list)

Let it be known once and for all, that if you wish to spend REP or UP on a character you must post a request on Your Character's Discussion Page. After this, you must either wait for an op to post approval and adjust the master XP list accordingly, or if it has been a while feel free to poke an op and point them to said request so it can be done. After this, check the master XP list and then update your character.

March 19th, 2012 Proposed changes have been added to the player tiers page, review and discuss constructively. Player Tiers

March 18th, 2012 Magic changes have been made and addressed! See them here: http://therafimrpg.wikidot.com/magic-changes-on-the-world-of-therafim

March 13th, 2012 Umnos has fixed, patched and sealed all the weaknesses in the veil of reality with regard to the world of Therafim and its multiverse. As of now, off-worlder characters require DM approval for play. WITH a valid reason as to why Umnos would allow him or her to reside in Therafim.

March 3rd, 2012 PURELY a player made announcement here folks, so…what if You Want To Play An Evil Character? A new section and multiple (hopefully helpful or informative) pages featured under Character Building Resources. -Storyteller, Insane Scrivener, and /d/emented Sorrowdusk

February 10th, 2012 Please take a look at all of your character sheets, Active and Inactive. If there are any dead links (ones that are in red instead of blue) please fix them by linking to the correct page. If they are not done by February 24th, 2012, then the Ops will fix them for you. Also, we would like people to remove the CSS code on their pages. We would like them all to be the same and to be readable by everyone. CSS code makes this hard on DMs and may eliminate you from quests if the DM deems they cannot read your sheet well enough for you to participate. If this happens to you, do not come to the Ops complaining about so-and-so not letting you go on their quest. It's your fault for not making the page easily readable and it's their choice on who they take anyway. We will only recommend that you remove the CSS coding to make your page just like all the others. Thank you for your time!

February 9th, 2012 Another meeting come and gone, here's what you need to know:

- The ban on Animated Shields is upheld. In addition, anything that acts as a loophole to this ban is also banned. If you have such an item, you are entitled a refund on what you spent on it. Please post such requests in your character discussion pages.
- Channel staff rosters have been adjusted
- Scathien will be going through his characters and ensuring that all magical items he got approved for his characters meet the correct costs (including needed modifiers). After this, he will be going over other character sheets that he approved items for. For those items that do not meet these standards posts will be made in how much the item should cost, and what the character still owes in order to properly pay for the effects that item has. Characters with money owed on items can still use them, but cant make any further purchases until the debt is paid off. Items that break the magical item limit (after adjustment) may be kept and used, but may not be added to until the item comes under the magical item limit.

February 5th, 2012 So we had our op meeting, you all got to give your input if you so chose. Here are the results:

- XP Banking is allowed (No Restrictions)
- Level Adjustment Buyoff is still allowed, but the rules regarding it have been amended
- The following PrC's are approved: Soulbow, Kensai, Dread Witch, Nightmare Spinner, Loremaster
- The following PrC's were passed over: Invisible Blade (Awaiting a re-write), Cavalier (Unfinished Page)
- The following PrC's were denied: Sanctified One (Will be reviewed again if deities are re-worked for Therafim), Dragon Devotee (We have enough dragon based PrC's and dragons are supposed to be rare in this setting), Dragon Disciple (Same), Warshaper (Deemed too powerful)

February 4th, 2012 We know people have some pretty major issues about the changes as of late. So we wish to hear you out. We are holding an Op meeting on Sunday at 7 pm Eastern Standard Time. Those of you with major issues please send us (Jenni, Scathien, Ibis, Hopey, Hikage, and Lisa) your argument in writing so we can review them prior to the meeting. During said meeting, you will also be allowed to attend and voice your opinion to our responses to said concerns. Once you have written up your opinions/reasons/etc send them to us via a Wiki PM so we can review them prior to starting the meeting tomorrow. Thank you.

February 3rd, 2012 Lisa's written a memo for players and staff alike. You can read it here.

February 2nd, 2012 Level Adjustment rules have been discussed and finalized via a majority vote among the ops. Discussion is still available on these matters but do so in a constructive manner.

Also, it has been decided to revert our previous decision to give people a choice on if they get GP only, XP only, or both. You now only get both GP and XP when spending UP. In addition, you are not able to "bank" XP and not level up your character, once they breach the threshold for a particular level, they -are- that level. This means that crafters for instance, if they reach 6,000 xp, cant spend xp to craft things and drop below the 6k xp threshold for level 4. This is suspended, pending a ruling on sunday.

January 29th, 2012 We are currently working on Level Adjustment Rules. The posting, which can be viewed here has been proposed and is open for Quest Runner input so that we can work together to resolve this matter. All Quest Runners are encouraged to weigh in since you guys will be dealing with it more than players.

January 28th, 2012 PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THESE PAGES AND LET US KNOW IF YOU WANT YOUR CHARACTER FINISHED/APPROVED/DELETED!! They will be deleted if we don't hear anything in 1 month's time. Unfinished Characters and Unlinked Characters

January 27th, 2012 REP and UP Award Guidelines are now available. For those running quests the following is now in effect: Levels 1-5 - 2 REP, Levels 5-10 - 3 REP, Levels 10-15 - 5 REP, Levels 15-20 - 6 REP

In addition, it has been decided that when a person spends UP on a character, it is no longer implied that they gain -BOTH- XP and GP for doing so. The player can specifically request that spent UP either count for XP only, GP only, or Both. If no request is made, it is assumed that the decision is for both XP and GP.

In addition, let me add in a reminder that character journals, character fiction, and other such things can be written up and posted on the offsite forum (a link is available in the sidebar) for additional REP.

January 25th, 2012 All Quest Runners are requested to read the section on DM Guidelines with regards to how experience points, loot and gold are awarded. Players who manipulate QRs into giving them loot without Staff approval first and/or gold deviating from these guidelines will be blacklisted from quests and running quests for a time deemed by the staff. New REP and UP award guidelines are also on the table for debate. Stay tuned.

January 21st, 2012 Evil aligned characters must be reminded of the following: WARNING: due to the nature of D&D being based around heroic characters, choosing to play a character of evil alignment carries certain risks. One of these risks include the possibility of reduced play time and exclusion from quests where a majority of good aligned characters are present. Also, in selecting said alignment, you waive your right to PC protection. That is, if you do evil deeds and it gets back to a good aligned player that you have, expect consequences for your actions. In essence, you become flagged for PvP so to speak. Good aligned players who have more than enough proof of your deeds (Or even paladins and beings who can detect evil and senses you as such) can hinder you or even assault you outright. Nothing in Therafim is without consequences, please keep it in mind. Have a good day.

January 19th, 2012 All characters that have not been updated in 120+ days has been moved. If your character isn't on the Player Character list, please check the Inactive Character list. It's likely there. No sheets were deleted in the move so it shouldn't be missing!

January 10th, 2012 Please be advised that, from now on, if you do not give your character name in a quest as it appears on the XP list, then you will not get XP awarded for the quest. If your name does not appear in the list, please let an op know and we'll add it for you. Thank you!

November 3rd, 2011 More changes for players that wish to create items via crafting! For those with the ability to enchant, enchanting now only takes 1 day of time per 10,000 gp of the difference between the new market value of the item and the old market value of the item. There is still a minimum of 1 day of crafting time. In addition, to head off any attempt to abuse the system, PC crafted items can not be sold back to the market (for 1/2 base market value) until they are used by either the PC that crafted them for a period of 1 week or until they are given to another PC who commissioned the crafting.

October 27, 2011 Another round of new minions to abuse for Paragon quests, We have three new DM status quest runners, Darkmask, Faithen and Videospirit. Welcome them to the higher ranks of Questrunning.

October 27, 2011 Meta-Plot information incoming. The governing bodies of Avalon and numerous places in the world today have been put on notice. Thanks to the efforts of a quartet of adventurers, the warning reached the City of Bridges just in time. The flames of battle comes to the free lands of Therafim in the shape of the Ghost of War. The Council of Five send diplomatic envoys to other countries, churches and are rallying troops to counter this new threat to all peoples of this world. Meanwhile those of the adventuring crowd are being given a call to arms against it as well, for glory, for wealth, or for whatever reason. (Please see Victor Silias for more information).

October 22, 2011 A great deal of content has been uploaded to the Therafim Forums, along with rules for player posting of additional content. Expect more to come in the near future. This also opens up a new avenue for potential REP, as player writing is always appreciated.

October 18th, 2011 The new Therafim Forums have been implemented! Thanks, Tritium!

October 16th, 2011 Meta-plot information incoming. Recent events have brought cause for RP curfews at nightfall within the streets of Avalon City, also guard patrols have been intensified. Please be sure to include this in any RP and quests ran. Also Faithen will be running a plot-driven quest on Wednesdays between 3PM and 1AM eastern. Those who were on the Dem Bones and Cry of the Unborn gain priority. New rules for use of the crafting skill are now in effect. Weekly checks now count in GP toward completion of the item while daily checks count in silver (instead of weekly counting in silver and daily counting in copper).

October 15, 2011 There are new questrunners, everyone be sure to abuse them as they so deserve, VS and Darkmask, welcome to the pain.

October 12, 2011 The ProBoards forums have been shut down due to obscene content. As Gideon Kalve Jarvis' name was made too long for the login box by a recent change in username length and format, and he was only given a day's notice to correct this issue, he was unable to prevent this occurrence in time. Suggestions for a new forum area that allows the posting of "questionable" content is appreciated.

September 3, 2011 Nerylos is interested in starting a regular Thursday group, as he works nights and Thursday is his only half-day off. Thinking something like 7-11:30 EST. Currently have 1 dungeon crawl written and a second is in the works. If you are interested in this every week game please PM me and we can get rolling. Character levels 5-8, though if people are interested in a lower level quest I can do that too.

August 10, 2011 If you find something that doesn't look right on the wiki or doesn't seem to mesh mechanically, please do not take it upon yourself to change it. Let an op know so we can check things out first. Thank you! Also, Newly Approved: Exotic Weapon Master, Mage of the Arcane Order, Malconvoker, and Tattooed Monk. On Hold: Invisible Blade. Denied: Entropomancer. Mystic Theurge remains denied. Gestation guidelines are as follows: Humans ~9 months, Beastfolk ~5-6 months (shorter or longer, depending on base animal), Elves ~a year, Halflings ~8 months, Dwarves ~a year, Orcs ~9 months. These are guidelines, pregnancies vary. We ask that you be reasonable with the time frames. A human can't pop out a kid every other month… Thank you all very much!

July 28, 2011: Congrats Ibis and Nerylos for their position as Mech Ops. Also congrats to Fathien and Abbassia as they are promoted to Questrunners!

July 28, 2011: The restriction lock on applying for Feats and Prestige Classes has been lifted. New PrCs and Feats may be applied for with limited approval, however no more core classes will be accepted. Feats and PrC's must get a majority vote from the staff before they can be put into play. Thank you.

July 18th, 2011 And now a word from the desk of Lisa, you can read it here.

July 15th, 2011 Tonight's game is postponed until Sunday night at 7pm eastern due to personal issues. Sorry for the inconvenience.

July 11th, 2011 Between now and some time in August, Lisa will be running quests twice a week and will be accepting sign ups for a Ravenloft-ish campaign within the Therafim Setting. The game will start with 1st level characters and will be 1st level characters ONLY. A page on the wiki with more information will follow. Serious inquiries only, no power-gamers or E-rpers please. Details can be found here.

July 5th, 2011 All character lists have been updated. Characters that have not been edited in the past 6 months have been moved to the Inactive Character list. If your character was moved there by mistake, please let an OP know and we will gladly fix the mistake for you. Ops, please move the XP over when switching an inactive character back to an active character and remove it from the inactive xp list. Thank you all for your cooperation! Happy gaming.

July 4th, 2011 To the rest of the players that aren't American… *points and laughs* Happy Monday! While we're cooking out, watching fireworks, and getting drunk, you have to start your work week! We enjoy you here, but we reserve the right to (lovingly) mock you. :) (Yes, this was hopey posting this, enjoy your day everyone!)

July 4th, 2011 With the recent lull in activity in Therafim, a roll call is being issued for all players. If you would like to try your hand at running quests, please see Lisa, Hope or Jenn about doing so. We're looking for quest runners who are willing to run on as steady a schedule as allowed. As well as low, mid level and high level adventures. Remember: Running quests earns you two to three rep points (With more to earn if you run with current storylines) Please see one of the admins for details. Thank You. PS: Happy 4th of July to our American players and staff.

Wednesday, June 8, 2011 There are changes coming to Therafim. They will be for the good and to strive for more active roleplaying. We are re-instituting the rule of "You want to go on quests? Great! Just remember, priority will be given to active roleplayers first and foremost" meaning if you're only around for quests and do not roleplay, your spot in a quest is forfeit to a player who actively roleplays in Therafim's many channels. We would love to see more roleplay in #TherafimRPG_Arcadia as it's the main channel for adventurers to sit and take a load off. Second, the e-spells are being removed. If you have a spell slot taken by one or more of them, then please speak to a mech op and they will help you fill it with something else. If your character has effects from an e-spell, speak with a mech op and something will be figured out. This is not being done to penalize you in the least. There are changes coming to the race and class lists in the next few weeks. If it directly affects you, something will be worked out with you, but we're not expecting to run into that. As that is happening, we will not be accepting requests for any new races, classes, or PRCs. All player affecting updates will be posted here so keep a look out. If you have any questions, OPs -are- available for you to speak with and we will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. We value all of you and we want a GOOD experience. There will be some rough patches coming so please be patient.

Sunday, May 22, 2011 It has come to the attention of the staff that constant buffeting of the OOC channel with mechanics debate has begun to wear thin with other players. We have a channel for such things called #therafimRPG_Mechanus. We humbly ask that such debates be taken there from now on. Thanks. :)

Saturday, May 21, 2011 The race page for Elves has been fully updated, with a full compliment of elven subraces. Additionally, Gideon Kalve Jarvis is feeling better, and should be starting to gradually get back into the chatrooms over the next few days. He asks that you please restrict pm's to a minimum, however, at least for the first few days, as he is still recovering, gradually building back up his mental as well as physical stamina.

Monday, May 16th, 2011 As this is a problematic issue for players, those who play an evil alignment character must be aware of the following, quoting the site: WARNING: due to the nature of D&D being based around heroic characters, choosing to play a character of evil alignment carries certain risks. One of these risks include the possibility of reduced play time and exclusion from quests where a majority of good aligned characters are present. An F.A.Q will be assembled by the staff to assist players with the choice of playing a character of any evil alignment with all the advantages and disadvantages of doing so.

Monday, May 9th, 2011 As you all know, we have a limited amount of space to work from on the wiki. The most information that consumes that space is music files and picture files. Effective immediately players are asked to no longer upload music files to this wiki and link to off-sites as much as possible. If we reach our maximum because of this, files will be deleted to conserve space as needed. Also, Lisa will be getting an e-card set up for everyone to send to Gideon. Player input is requested. Thanks for your cooperation.

Saturday, 5-7-2011 Because of health issues, Leap Op Gideon Kalve Jarvis goes dormant, for how long is unknown. His health is presently shattered from a combination of real life and game world stresses, which have finally gotten to him physically. At the present time he is unable to walk without his entire body trembling with exertion and effort of will, and his fingers tremble from the exertion of just typing. He will try to be back up and going as soon as he is able to do so. Hopefully sooner rather than later, because I love this game world, and have had a lot of fun here in the past with all the people I have played with.

Friday, 5-6-2011 Those who run quests in the now active Invaders from Beyond The Stars Saga will earn +1 more REP than normal, with standard-length quests generally earning 4 REP.

Thursday, 5-5-2011 Ranger and Paladin have had their buffs as discussed and fine tuned over the past several days on the upcoming ideas page.

Wednesday, 5-4-2011 Roleplaying Experience Formula has been updated, hopefully for the last time. You log in as your Player name (same as your wiki IE Jennibear is Ziyanani, Gid is GideonKalveJarvis, Olivia is Hopey.. and so on). Please inform an Op how you wish to spend your unspent post tally, as found at the bottom of the Experience and REP Tallies page. Once the tally is used up, it will be gone forever.

Tuesday, 5-3-2011 Invaders From Beyond the Stars Upcoming Quest page has been updated.

Monday, 5-2-2011 Upcoming Ideas page has been added. I, the indomitable Jennibear, would like your input on class changes that may be in the future, and ideas for classes that need help. The info on this page may rotate as new ideas are added or others taken off, either in triumph or defeat.

Sunday, 5-1-2011 A significant change in the way that experience and gold will be awarded for roleplaying has been implemented. See the Channel Staff, Roleplaying Experience Formula and Experience and REP Tallies pages for more details. All players have been awarded a flat 200 unspent roleplaying points that they may use as they see fit. Additional points will be added as time goes on.

Thursday, 4-28-2011 Some mechanical changes are upcoming starting with one class and one prestige class. Soulknife is being returned to its SRD standard BAB of +15 at level 20. Eldritch disciple ( Dual progression caster prc ) is losing dual progression on levels where it gains class abilities resulting in a loss of 4 divine caster levels and 5 invocation caster levels. All further dual progression caster classes are banned.

Those effected by these changes are offered a ONE TIME rebuild of ONLY THOSE class levels. Those seeking to use this option need to drop Jennibear on irc ( ziyanani on the wiki) a PM indication that they are taking a rebuild for those levels.

Tuesday, 4-26-11 Two new members of the Channel Staff have been added. Please give Jennibear and Sorrowdusk a warm welcome, and try not to overload them right away.

Edit: No it's okay, when my box isnt full I am usually dissapoint [:-|]. -SD
Edit Edit: Spam Sorrow, He likes it - Jenni

Thursday, 4-21-11 The Player Tier Rules in regards to Paragon rewards have been updated.

Tuesday, 4-19-11 The Avalon Legends page is a new endeavour to attempt to expand the lore of Therafim and root it in its Player Characters, who are its most important figures. You can find more information on the Disc Page. It is relavant to any characters who reached at least 11th lvl. Lisa's coming out of retirement as a story-teller/quest runner with an experiment. Contact her if you have any questions.

Friday, 4-8-11: The Useful Items page is an ongoing project that players may contribute to. The The Memorial Fountain is also open to player contributions, see the Disc page for information.

Wednsday, 4-5-11: New onsite articles have been added to the Character Building Resources Page.

Wednesday, 3-16-11: The Player Tiers rules have been revamped, updated, and are now presently available for use. If you have completed the requirements for a given player tier, please inform Gideon Kalve Jarvis as soon as possible so that he can review your standing, and upgrade your player status as soon as possible. If you have completed a questionnaire, but have not made it public, this now counts as an official questionnaire, but Gideon needs to be reminded of it so that you can receive proper rewards for your work - you know who you are.

Saturday, 3-12-11: The Memorial Fountain has been set up in Avalon City. Come and gawk. :) Also, please note that the player tiers option will be finished within the coming week, if all goes as planned, and will be reposted. In its new incarnation, the Player Tiers will be purely optional, with rewards going to those who choose to participate. Gideon Kalve Jarvis will be taking complete charge over assigning levels of players who do choose to participate, until further notice.

Wednesday, 3-02-11: We are thinking of moving to IndirectIRC. Please join us there via /server -m irc.indirectirc.com and #TherafimRPG_OOC! It is a small network, but we are the first and only DnD channel there!

Monday, 2-28-11: The quest series, Pyramid of Darkness and Invaders from Beyond the Stars have both been announced on the Quests and Questrunning page. Please be sure to check them out. Also, if you would like to run quests for the Invaders from Beyond the Stars series of quests, please contact Gideon Kalve Jarvis for more information.

Tuesday, 1-18-11: Three announcements for now. First, Therafim's Dark World will soon be released - the other half of the world, hidden in shadow. Also, the deities will be receiving a revamp overhaul to make them a more coherent mythology. Do not worry about losing a deity you favor, as we will be keeping them just adjusting their standing in the universe. Finally, the player tier system has been moved to beta until its specific details can be worked out, focusing more on rewards for accomplishing them, as an optional matter, rather than something that is required.

Monday, 12-27-10: Important Note on the E Rules, E Spells, E Feats, and E Items have been moved from the forums to the main wiki site. Player fiction is still hosted on the forums, however.

Monday, 12-06-10: Look here Player tier accomplishments if your name is listed under To test for Journeyman contact Dallys for a short, three question mechanics quiz, a very easy one, so that you can be promoted. ASAP.

Thursday, 11-18-10: New spells from Book of Exalted Deeds and Book of Vile Darkness added to spell lists. Before you go nuts, they are still subject to change for balance issues, but all available to PC's.

Wednesday, 11-10-10: Big changes! Everyone needs to fill out the Questionnaire for their primary characters. (In this instance, primary means highest level. If there is a tie, choose one.) You may complete it for all of them if you wish. Concerning the character tiers on the House Rules page. If your character has already surpassed the level of a tier, you do not need to complete the requirements. (However you may complete them anyway, if you wish.) For an example, please see Dahlia, her requirements will be completed during the day, today.

This change is not intended to exclude people, even if they are not good at writing. If you need help in fulfilling the requirements, you can always talk to Dallys, and other people may be willing to help as well. The intention of this new requirement is to give DM's more ammunition to craft storylines and quests that directly involve your characters, as well as give everyone opportunities to earn REP.

Monday, 10-18-10: We are not accepting any new race or base class additions at this time and until further notice.

Sunday, 10-17-10: Character background and picture/description are now a requirement to have a character approved. Please see get-started-guide.

Sunday, 09-26-10: Inactive Characters If your character is no longer on the Approved Character's list, it does not mean that it was deleted. It simply means that you have not updated your character in about 2 months or we've not seen you in quite some time and we miss you. If you'd like to play your character again, just let an OP know and we'll fix you up! Inactive Characters

Sunday, 09-26-10: Character Death Characters now only die when they reach a negative equal to their normal Con score or -10 whichever is more beneficial.

Approved Races: Aasimar, Tiefling and Aquatic Elf all for 15 Rep. Please, no requests until the Race pages are posted.
Banned Races: Shifter, Illumian.

Monday, 09-20-10: New deities have been added to the Deities page. Additional modifications to present deities are still pending.

Tuesday, 09-14-10: New ways to spend your rep have been added to the Rep Page. Also, attention to all Wizards and other classes that employ spellbooks! We are now requiring that all spells scribed into your books require the use of ink costing 100 gold pieces per level of the spell. Also, it has been determined that you may copy spells from another wizard's spellbook so long as they give you permission IC'ly, and you may allow wizards to copy spells from yours, as long as you don't mind them getting something for free that you worked, or paid for. Copying spells from spellbooks still costs 50 gp per spell level, but you do not have to purchase it as a scroll first. All current spellbooks will be grandfathered.
