The Avalon Watch
Also called the ‘cops’, ‘police’, ‘law’, or just the Watch. These are the ladies and gentlemen who patrol the city streets and investigate. The Watch was hit VERY had during the recent troubles and lost roughly 80% of their numbers. The city has increased the numbers with some significant recruiting since things have begun to settle. Unfortunately, those new numbers aren’t exactly as skilled as the previous Watch. Some levels of incompetence are a given when referring to the Watch these days. The old veterans do their best but just can’t handle everything. This leaves the Watch as a weak institution at best until they can get up to speed…which is likely to take several years sadly. Luckily Avalon boasts a massive resource to help with this problem in the form of good and noble adventurers.
