• Diego - Dingo-type sirius, a ladykiller, with wickedly handsome good looks. Known for being very easygoing, though he tends to think with his lower head more than the upper one. A bard who plays a variety of instruments, and keeps a finger on city gossip.
• McDonnel - Unofficial leader of the urban packs of wolfen and sirius in Avalon City - the Overalpha. Tall and powerfully-built, one-eyed grey-furred wolfen ranger. Highly respected, decent guy, good at diplomacy as well as handling animals.
• Raah Lionclaw - Simbani large feline beastfolk. Urban schoolteacher. Former prince of Anubast on the continent of Crescent.
