Perhaps impose a limit of one hosted picture per character? Or a certain amount of space per player/character? I'd suggest 500kb as a limit more than sufficient space for on site hosting per character.

What is the benefit of moving to a fledgling IRC network, as opposed to moving to a larger better established network or not moving at all.

I share the opinion that a move may be a good thing, but I disagree entirely with uprooting the channel to a network with about forty people total. I checked the network not ten minutes ago, and there was barely a tumbleweed. This strikes me as a bad place to go, for now and for the future.

If we're moving it should be somewhere that RP is already popular, and there is a pool of users to entice into the channel.
