Assuming these seasons are listed by northern hemisphere reckoning anyway. If it's based off of the southern hemisphere everything would be tossed about. In the end it would mean Corlar = september, kuhat = december, fala = march, yem = june, and the year starts in Cipa(november).

But cipa for Therafim is suppsosed to be Spring. It wouldnt be the middle of Summer.

So the Therafim year begins in Cipa(May).

There is a calendar which ends on Oct 31. They believed the day ended at sundown, and the new year began at sunrise. This "between" time was very special time, because spirits could move in the realm of the living.

ALSO-SPELLCASTING

Some spells reference durations of "24 hours" and other spells mention "Days/lvl". These effectively make the assumption that your world has the same number of hours as the real ones. What do we do about this? Do we extend those 24 hour spells or durations to 32, and assume "day" to mean a "Therafim day".

ALSO…does this change or interact with the assumed "8 hours" of rest required to remove fatigue or other conditions, or recover for spellcasters-considering the "day" is 30% longer.

THEN AGAIN another thing you could do is to simply assume the days ARE 24 hours…just that the Therafim "Hours" are LONGER. The length of an 'Hour', Day, and year can all vary depending on what planet you are on. In fact, when reffering to other planets 'length of day' NASA uses "hours" in the sense of how many Earth hours.(which seems to be what you did)

A civilization that ACTUALLY developed on a planet could have further divisions of time less than a day, but there may create 24 of them.

And

while we're on the topic….HOW the Helen-of-Troy do Underdark civilizations (Drow, Derro, Duergar, etc) keep track of time? This is obviously 'the international calendar', but realize underdark civilizations never see the sun. How do they keep time, what is it based on? What are their "years" like, seeing as the Underdark is static with no seasons? This might be more of a needed sub-article.

Therafim Month (Real Month)

kind of format, which makes it easy for people to understand in real world terms. I ALSO reference solstices and equinoxes as being the dates of black rites, so I will need to know what the proper dates these fall on in Therafim.

First thing…WHERE DO THE NAMES of these months come from? Many people would look at them and not know. However…I can see where.

After that, the next question is WHY these gods are associated with these months, and say, not other ones. Especially since one of them is only a demigod, and one of them is Evil. Whats the symbolism, the history, and the significance? Do these gods have holy days in these months? The why is VERY important.

Second thing is-its good this calendar has 12 months, as it makes it easy to try to correspond or parallell them with real months. However one thing to note is that it does not mention exactly what months these are. One thing I will note is that the Therafim calendar begins in Spring, not in the middle of winter. SO that would make it around April or March.

I have some dates in my journal on various things, and it would be nice to do some conversions. I already wrote something of a summary of the last major arc in addition to the last 2 years of my characters life. I know you are also in charge of "The Timeline", which by its name probably more implies the less than recent past that covers most of Therafim's history. When/If you go into more recent time, I do have a summary of everything that I know happened during that arc. The dates I used are taken from the dates the quest writeups were first created (usually the same day). Most of those quests (which you can find on the old wiki) do not have summaries only XP calculation.
