Likewise, was approved but not added to the list yet.
I will add it to the list then if it's fully approved.
If I wasn't supposed to do that then I can get a smack or something.
Please do. I have little if any clue how to work a wiki myself.
I retract my statement. I don't understand the link for prestige class that's in there so I don't know how to add to that list unfortunately.
I've figured out how to work it, but it looks like the approved list is linked from somewhere else.
So, I'm betting that I don't have access to it. Even if I did I'm betting that I wouldn't be able to edit it.
Comments from the peanut gallery are neither required nor desired. None the less, thank you.
Oh you didnt know?
All you have to do is parent it to the appropriate page and the list automatically adds everything that is parented to it.

"Congratulations, you can link to TV Tropes. This does not mean you have special insight into the storytelling process, much less the author's mind. Stories don't need to fit into neat boxes, you know.
Well, you know. I have 2 step kids, but I'm not a parent really, so I wasn't exactly sure how that worked.
Something about a stork….
So I got a little bored, decided to give my hand at attempting to extend this class to 10 levels
| Level | BAB | Fort Save | Ref Save | Will Save | Special |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | +1 | +2 | +0 | +0 | One with the hammer, secrets of the forge |
| 2nd | +2 | +3 | +0 | +0 | Flesh of my flesh +1 |
| 3rd | +3 | +3 | +1 | +1 | Forged in fire |
| 4th | +4 | +4 | +1 | +1 | Flesh of my flesh +2 |
| 5th | +5 | +4 | +1 | +1 | Tempered in blood |
| 6th | +6 | +5 | +2 | +2 | Flesh of my flesh +3 |
| 7th | +7 | +5 | +2 | +2 | Final Secrets of the Forge |
| 8th | +8 | +6 | +2 | +2 | Flesh of my flesh +4 |
| 9th | +9 | +6 | +3 | +3 | Bonus Crafting Feat |
| 10th | +10 | +7 | +3 | +3 | Flesh of my flesh +5 |
Final Secrets of the Forge: Like Secrets of the Forge, but you get to pick either craft wondrous items, or forge ring
Bonus Crafting Feat: Limited to Exceptional Artisan, Extraordinary Artisan, Legendary Artisan, or Magic Artisan
Done mucking with it. Now, I dont know if such will be viable, and if so feel free to say no and ill just delete the post, still im curious to see what others think about it.
Hopefully you don't mind my input here, but a few things struck me about your extension:
-Secrets of the Forge, if Battlesmith is taken to 10 levels, needs a cap or something. As originally written it caps at caster level 15 at character level 12, which is good, but not too far ahead - you're still not outpacing a buffed cleric's greater magic weapon or whatever, even if you ARE crafting better than the wizard. However, caster level 30 for crafting at character level 17 is a lot. It's also largely unnecessary, due to no magic armor in core taking more than CL 15 to make as far as I'm aware, but it's probably a good idea to cap it at "(PrC level x3) or character level, whichever is lower".
-Rings and wondrous items pretty much always require some kind of spell to be made. At the very least a battlesmith can make arms and armor that are just flat +Xs without help. A class ability that allows them to have spells of a level equal to 1/2 PrC level might be an interesting way to solve this. (That is, a level 8 battlesmith can count as having any level 4 spell for the requirements of item creation). While this means you still need some help for the awesome items, you won't have a level 18 character reliant upon the level 1 wizard to make a silly ring.
-Flesh of my flesh is essentially a "stacks with everything except obscure dumpster diving bullshit" bonus. At +2, that's really not so bad. But +5 is pretty beefy. Mind you, I have no problem with a large bonus to a specialized warrior PrC, but it needs to be watched carefully because it is possible to get out of hand, especially on a magic item crafter who is by definition going to be dumpster diving.
-I would personally get rid of the bonus crafting feat, and give Tempered in Blood 2/day, or even more later on. Bonus feats are largely "filler", and are uninteresting.Tempered in Blood is interesting, although it becomes weaker as you level up (damage scales a lot faster than fort saves, damage is spread out over multiple attacks, damage is coming from more oddball sources). While it's fine at level 12, it really needs a boost by the time you get to level 17 or so!
- Secrets of the Forge: After some discussion, I dont mind adding in a cap that caps out at character level, though effective CL 30 would really only come into play if someone is trying to dispel something that the battlesmith forged. So the question that should really be asked is does someone worry that such would be game breaking trying to dispel something that requires someone to beat a DC of 41 that a maxed out battlesmith makes? At this point the battlesmith is at a minimum of level 17. So I would be curious as to other people's views on this.
- Point 2: On their own, battlesmiths can only make weapons/armor with flat enhancement bonuses, and can add special effects but only as long as they work with a wizard… I do sort of like the idea this point makes, but at the same time the battlesmith may not have any magical training except what they get from the battlesmith class. And I personally think that having a battlesmith work with magical types in order to make the most out of their craft is a good idea, especially when moving on to wondrous items or rings. It also makes the battlesmith have to spend just a little bit more when they make stuff with special effects because they dont have to deal with the same issues that normal spellcasters have to deal with, and taking that away may make this overbalanced.
- Point 3: Discussed but doesnt seem like a huge deal at Character Level 17
- Point 4: At this point, anyone pursuing Battlesmith to its higher levels is doing so mainly for the crafting stuff as most of the combat stuff is obtained at level 5 (and such is the most really needed for weapons/armor). That said, with the restrictions placed on what bonus feats can be obtained, they are all related to reducing the cost of making items in either gp or xp. As I am not very schooled in mechanics, I would have no idea how to boost Tempered in Blood to make it useful at such a high character level when someone can easily take 50+ damage in a hit
