Quest Summary:

An aged and beared elf in Avalon is a great alchemist by hobby, however he has never before been able to study a sample of the legendary and evil Io-Rach Pit of the goblinfolk, and thus has hired a small group of adventurers to seek it out and bring him a sample. Once there, the party was quick to find abominations that were a result of the horrid mutagen, in the form of vile and corrupted bats that attacked in the shock of a lantern being lit. Overcoming these tiny but wretched foes, the party moved forward and qas quick to find the first of the pits proper, but had a choice, cross a precariously made bridge or brave the dark tunnels?

Deciding the tunnels looked more hospitible they came across the first of the mutated goblins, with bodies smelling of death and parts of themselves bloated and swollen, they put up a fight and nearly fell the party if not for the Druid's quick action. Together they made it to the far side of the first pits and found a sample, only to be found and threatened by a fiendish cleric of the goblinkind. They did not heed his warning, and thus "Assistance" was called to force them to comply, a beat with many tentacles and a body foully stretched and made tall, a true monster to behold! With the filled vials in hand, Jackson made to escape to cause confusion, but was unable to keep Four from being dropped into the mutating pits below. Sadly, not even the Changeling's normal resistance to being transformed could keep it from being mutated, and as Arae finished off the large beast, forcing the cleric to flee, Four's body sprouted webbing and gills, turning into an amphibious version of itself!

However, they were still successful, and in the end they turned in the vile alchemic fluid to the elf, each claiming a suit of the goblin's armor and a set of their weaponry as an additional boon … however … would Four ever be the same?
