Hex Club

If The Arcadia Inn is the local tavern where boring common folk come for a beer, and The Cantabile is an upscale elagant bistro where stuffy uppercrust comes to dine and enjoy fine art, then The Hex Club is where young, urbane Avalonites come to party.

No one gets in without a Dance Card-unless you know the right people of course. Ten gold gets you access for up 30 days from the date its stamped. The cards are midly magical, and so they are difficult to alter or counterfeit. Old Smokey mans the ticket booth, although its hard for anyone to tell whether they're a man or woman anymore as emaciated and wizened they've become. Before you pass the velvet rope you'll have to hand over any visible arms of course-and if you pull one while inside you'll be thrown out.

The Hex Club is dimly lit by colorful Faerie Fire and Dancing Ligts. The dance floor is hazed by Obscuring Mist and by beset by the ocassional toned down Gust of Wind that blows around hair and skirts in addition to cooling overheated dancers. Silent Images advertise various brands of alcohol while Major Images work up the crowd. Music is provided by a mixture of local talent and bards on tour. Hex Club offers a diverse selection from Druidic Beats, Bazrami Grooves, and on occassion angry Orcish Chaos. Whatever your taste, the music is hot and the ladies and gents are hotter. The Hex Club is mainly frequented by well dressed humans and half elves, with some gnomes, albeit ocassional beastfolk and others patron the place.

If you find you just cant keep a finger on the hottest trends, you can purchase an outfit (15gp) in your size or jewelry and change in a small dressing room. Most people come to dance, but plenty of people come to hook-up and while The Hex doesnt offer typical tavern rooms there are a number of back rooms if you want to meet someone in a more private place. The Bar offers light snacks and all kind of drink and if you look around you can find other fun too.
