Little Gold, Loyal Cat
Now, when Seren went to Aur to chase after his heritage, he expected to find a lot of things, information, treasure, mystery… but he really didn’t expect to find a cat. The little gold furred young cat, probably about two or three, had attached himself to Seren after its former master fell to him and the others. No longer a familiar, the orange long haired cat now followed Seren everywhere he went, and if Seren decided to settle in a room, he’d either sit in his lap or perch somewhere nearby and nap- but would always wake up when Seren decided to move on elsewhere.
Seren was surprised to learn just how loyal the cat was capable of being. When Seren fed him and left to go elsewhere outside of the house, he’d either stop eating to follow, or not notice in his hunger and eventually sit by the door until Seren returned. When he did, he’d resume following him about.
Seren now sat in his study, Little Gold sitting atop a bookshelf, eyes mostly closed, purring contently as he wrote in one of his books, occasionally looking up and smiling at the little feline. Those who said that only dogs could be so loyal- well… they were quite mistaken!
