Quest Summary:
Roka and Hussam have been missing for about a week now, however Eve has received word they are being held at the Formian Hives of Mechanus. With passports and forms received by Galen, the group heads out to find their friends lost in another dimension.
Mechanus, though, was a harsh plane for those of chaotic alignment, and the group quickly discovered this as most of them felt its painful effects. A bit of Planar Attunement later and the group was ready to go, being given a man that Serenity seemed expertly able to decipher, despite highly evolved mathematical equations and advanced calculus being offered instead of written instructions. The trip was not to be entirely peaceful, as during the trek the group had an unfortunate encounter with an Inevitable, who took offense to the magic currently extending the lives of Ariel and Seren, as well as the Clockwork Horrors, terrible constructs that found their way to the plane and were damaging its very existance. The party held strong, though, and destroyed the threat thouroughly.
Once at the Formian Hives, the group provided the release forms to get Roka and Hussam back … but what they were unaware of is that Roka and Hussam had already waived their rights for release so that they could be tried under the Formian courts. With no other solution, the group decided instead on a plea bargain, admission of guilt in return to a sentence of community service to rid Mechanus of the Clockwork Horrors. Little did they realize they had just agreed to fight the feared Adamantine Horror, a construct even the Formians feared, however the Formians accepted the plea bargain, and Roka and Hussam were free to go … for now.
