Mycen The Herald of Chronepsis:
While Chronepsis has little to do with the affairs of mortals, there are a few within the Prime Material that are connected to him. One such watcher over the span of time is Chronepsis' own herald, a Great Wyrm that has lived long enough to see ages pass before it and empires rise and fall in the blink of an eye.
The herald mirrors the traits of Chronepsis, neutral, silent, uncaring, dispassionate. Once Silver scales have long since dulled upon this ancient creature, his form colourless and without luster. There is little reason for the Herald to ever leave his lair, and often like an aged man does the dragon lay vacant as time washes over him. Yet within there is a mind filled with knowledge, a mind sat upon a hoarde acquired throughout the span of its great life.
Only in the instance of a great blight of the Undead might the herald rise from its apparent slumber, though at great length it may be found in the high mountains of the Isle of the Mighty by mortals wishing to seek the unlikely event of its counsel. Its lair is collosal so as to accomodate such a titanic creature, though for its age the Herald has not amassed great mountains of gold, only an average amount as like with everything else it is dispassionate about material wealth.
Features of the dragon that may set it apart from its kin are a trinket hour glass in its lair and a disposition to answer no question, and those it does with cryptic message few could comprehend. (DC40 Decipher Script).
Knowledge Arcana:
DC20 - The Herald of Chronepsis has not be known to rouse from its lair in over a century.
DC25 - If you carry the taint of undeath with you, or broke with undead and the Herald discovers this you will be treated as a mortal enemy.
DC30 - While the Herald shows little interest in material wealth, it is interested in trinkets which denote time, particularly ones which are not too gaudy.
DC35 - The Herald's scales, while colourless are so ancient that they themselves radiate magical energy, protecting the Herald as few other dragons can boast beyond Force Dragons.
DC40 - It is said that the Herald once had a mate, and a brood, but that they were wiped away in one of the earliest conflicts of Dragonkind. As the last of its kin, it now waits as does Chronepsis, endlessly.
