A: Appearance
1) Describe yourself as someone meeting you for the first time would see you.
Myr never shows her true form save to one person, always appearing in one of two forms:
Myr: A five foot, ten inch tall elf with sun tanned skin. Her build is lithe and ample breasted with sumptuous hips, long lithe legs and a slender waist. Gleaming yellow eyes are set into an elegantly structured face with long, sweeping eye lashes and full, well defined lips set against a stubborn chin. Her hair is hip length, snowy white and very silky. Her belly is flat and slightly defined with muscle. She wears a very unique outfit comprised of a maroon colored wrap around her breasts that leaves one shoulder and arm bare but stretches long over her right arm and flares out at her hand. Her left arm is covered in a fingerless glove of black leather stretching up above her elbow, a matching glove on her right hand only ascends part of the way up her forearm. Her lithe belly is almost always displayed unless she is wearing her shimmering mithril breastplate for battle, a black leather belt cinched at her hips. Her skirt is long and flowing on one side where it covers the entirety of her left leg but leaves her right completely bare. The skirt is tattered and worn at the bottom and on her left foot is a simple, black, three inch high, heeled shoe. Her right shoe is a black leather boot with a three inch heel that extends up to her thigh, standing out against the sun-kissed skin. Her cloak is a dark, red wine hue, wrapping about her shoulders with a hood that she sometimes wears pulled up. The back of the cloak is tattered and it falls askew behind her to one side, back behind her bared, left shoulder down to about her elbow.
Kai: A six foot, three inch tall elf with sun tanned skin. His build is lithe and muscular. Gleaming yellow eyes are set into a strong featured face with a strong jaw and stubborn chin. His hair is thigh length, the onyx locks usually pulled back into a pony tail at the nape of his neck. He usually wears a pair of black trousers with black leather boots pulled up to his knees and a loose fitting white shirt with long sleeves and black fingerless gloves. A belt of black leather wraps around his hips and his shirt is usually untied for the first few inches of the collar, displaying a few inches of his hard muscled chest. As far as anyone knows he is Myr's younger brother.
True form: A nearly exact replica to her elven form, Myr's true form stands at five feet, ten inches tall with elegant facial features. Her nose is somewhat melded into her face along with her full lips, her eyes pupil and iris-less and a milky, opaque white crowned with long, sweeping lashes. Her skin is a dark gray hue, almost drow-like. Her limbs are long for her figure as is the case with most changelings, her hair, having never been cut, falls past her knees and is very fine and stark white in hue. Her breasts are ample, her waist slender with the same musculature and curving hips as her elven form, even the same long, pointed ears.
2) What other details would someone notice on a closer look? (Distinguishing marks, birthmarks, scars, etc?)
Neither Myr nor Kai have any scars. Myr has a birthmark just above her right hip however and a sprawling black tattoo of tribal dragon wings stretching across her upper back. Kai sports a similar birthmark to Myr on his left shoulder. Myr's true form sports scars along her back and the supple curve of her rear from where stones were thrown at her and cut into the skin. Upon her upper back is an identical tattoo to her elven form only inked in white against the darker skin.
3) Do you have a distinctive way of speaking or any other mannerisms or memorable behavior?
Myr carries herself in relative silence. Her head is always raised and she has a distinct habit of simply watching people or downright glaring at them. She usually prefers her solitude and isn't particularly social. She's rough around the edges and rather cynical at times. She is also very protective of those she cares about as well as somewhat possessive.
Kai carries himself with an air of elegance. He enjoys conversing with others and is relatively friendly. He is protective of his friends and those weaker than him and enjoys playful teasing and having fun.
B: Birth and Family
1) Where and when were you born?
Myr was born in Iron throne during the spring in the middle of the night.
2) Who are your parents?
Her mother was Anikka Relaethor, an elven woman of abyssal heritage. Her father was a doppleganger of draconic descent by the name of L'thiri'tzarin who had captured and raped her mother before she'd found her escape. After birthing her, Anikka was horrified by Myr's alien, changeling appearance. Unable to bear raising a child that she looked upon as such an abomination, she called upon her brother, Diarron for a favor. Since he owed her a debt long past, Diarron took in the abominable child that Anikka had dubbed Myr. He raised her with a firm hand, always keeping the changeling girl at arm's length and insisting that she always be in the first form she'd learned, her elven one. He despised the child but due to the debt kept her in his home and made sure she was fed and sheltered.
3) Do you have any siblings?
Myr has no siblings.
C: Education and Work
1) Did you serve an apprenticeship in order to learn your current profession/class? For how long?
Myr was found at a young age to have inherited her mother's abyssal bloodline. Her affinity towards magic became known only to Diarron who did his best to ward Myr against her powers and abilities by telling her how much of an abomination they were.
2) If you were not an apprentice, how did you learn your trade/skills/ect? Formal schooling? Informal Teachers? Self-Taught?
Myr is completely self-taught save for her use in the longsword
3) Who was your master or teacher? (Race? Gender? Appearance? Personality?) Is he/she still alive? How were you treated? Are/Were you on good terms with your master?
Diarron, her elven uncle, was the one who trained her in her use of the longsword. He was a fickle, cold man who despised her for what she was. As far as Myr knows he is still alive though she is not and never has been on good terms with him.
4) Due to the rarity of literacy in this setting, how important are books, writings, letters, ect. to your character? Regardless as to whether or not he/she can read?
Over the years that she was with her uncle he'd taught her to read, insisting that she read of the abomination that was her father's species. OF course, Myr hated it. Whenever she could she found tales of adventures and heroics to loose herself in, pretending that she was one of the heroes instead of the villain her uncle kept telling her she was bound to be.
D: Friends
1)Who were your friends as a child? As an adolescent? As an adult?
Myr has never really had any friends. Simple acquaintances that meant nothing to her and nothing to them though she found both a friend and a lover in Rosalyn, a half fae cleric of tamara.
2) Who is/was your best friend? What is the most memorable thing that the two of you ever did together?
Myr's best friend is her lover Rosalyn and as far as Myr is concerned, the first time they ever made love was the most memorable, cherished thing they'd ever done together.
5) Have you ever been in love?
Myr fell in love once before she left Iron throne to travel to Avalon. His name was Vynn, an elven ranger. They were together for several months before Myr one day decided to reveal her true self for him, not wishing to withhold the secret from him any longer. Horrified by her Vrynn betrayed her. It had been many years since then and only over the past few months has Myr found herself attracted to and in love with another. A small half fae woman by the name of Rosalyn whom Myr exposed to her true form expecting hatred and revulsion and found instead acceptance and love. For this very reason, among many others, Myr treasures Rosalyn above all else in her life.
E: Attitudes and Beliefs
1) What are your beliefs about religion and the afterlife? Do you follow any particular god or gods? What appeals to you most about this religion? Least?
Myr is an inadvertent follower of the Morrigan despite the fact that she's never given any thoughts towards what happens after death or religion in and of itself.
2) Where do spirits of nature, the elements and the dead fit into these beliefs?
Myr doesn't much care for undead, mostly because they have a tendency to either not bleed or not bleed -well-. As for spirits of nature and the like… She couldn't care less. So long as they stay out of her way she leaves them be and doesn't so much as spare them a thought.
4) What is your moral code? Under what conditions will you kill? Steal? Lie? Do you have a personal code of behavior about violence? Magic? Sex? Dealing with Evil Beings?
Driven by a lust for conflict, battle and blood Myr walks the thin line between neutrality and evil though she is also capable of acts of great good. Myr will go out of her way to protect those she's feels an affinity or kinship for. She will never run from a battle unless the life of someone she feels deeply for is at stake. She does not take kindly to the mistreatment of those weaker than herself. She's not religious by any means and truly believes that she is an abomination. However, she has decided that if she is indeed such, then she might as well make the best of it, using her talents as much to slake her own lust for blood as to defend others. To her sex is something that should be shared between two people who care deeply for each other. If she has her way, she'll only share it with one person: Rosalyn.
5) How committed are you to seeing through something (a task, quest, bargain, etc) that you have started?
If Myr decides to do something, it gets done.
6) How important are the following to you?: Power, Wealth, Fame, Honor, Family, Friends, Love, Knowledge, Religion, Your job? To what lengths would you go to acquire or preserve these things?
Power and strength are very important to Myr though recently, she's discovered that love beats all the rest. She would go to any lengths to protect her lover from harm. Rosalyn is the most important thing in the world to her and that will never change.
7) How often do you remember your dreams? How much attention do you pay to them? Do they inspire you? Guide you? Inspire You? Warn you? Frighten You?
Myr doesn't often remember her dreams though when she does, it's because some of her sorcerer talents have surfaced. She learns her new spells through her dreams and thus is sometimes prone to sleep a lot longer than usual. These dreams are not frightening to her in the least and she finds them pleasant and even useful.
8) What is your attitude towards magic? People who use it? Fearsome monsters? The unknown in general?
She accepts magic openly, giving at least some level of respect to those who can wield it. As for monsters… Making them bleed is always fun. She doesn't give much thought to the unknown, regarding it with a simple shrug and indifference.
F: Edges and Flaws
1) What are you especially good at? What sets you apart from the rest of the world? A skill? An unusual knack? A certain flair of style or wit?
Myr is good at killing things. At violence. Her blood thirsty nature in combat leads people to usually either fear her or regard her with caution. She is known for being intimidating and at being good with her hands, in the violent sense. She is also noted for her unusual tastes in clothing.
2) What flaws do you have? Bad habits? Obsessions? Terrible (or embarrassing) secrets?
Perhaps Myr's biggest flaw is her over confidence in her combat abilities. She despises herself however and as such is prone towards obsessive over protectiveness towards Rosalyn as well as being overly possessive at times. Her biggest secret is the fact that she's a changeling and she will go to almost any lengths to keep it a secret.
3) Do you have any enemies? How much trouble do those conflicts cause you?
Myr's biggest enemy is herself. She fights a constant, daily battle against self loathing.
G: Likes and Dislikes
1) What do you love? (People? Places? Creatures? Kinds of Food? Activities? Subjects?)
She loves Rosalyn unconditionally, along with dark chocolate filled fairy cakes with raspberry topping. She enjoys red wine and combat as well as receiving gifts.
2) What do you hate? How do you typically react to these hated things?
Myr hates people who attempt to flatter her or her girlfriend. She reacts with glaring and intimidation as well as possessiveness.
3) What do you fear? What is your worst nightmare?
She fears centipedes with a mixture of hatred and terror, going out of her way to either kill and grind the creatures into a pulp though sometimes she is rendered frozen with fear. Her worst nightmare is losing Rosalyn either to death or another person.
1) Describe your first encounter with a nonhuman monster. (Not counting player races, animals, etc that you grew up with, but feel free to mention them too)
the first time Myr encountered a monster of any kind was during one of her first adventures in Avalon. She didn't regard it with any amount of fear but more an eagerness to sink her claws into it's flesh. Needless to say, it was killed. Thuroughly.
2) If you are a spellcaster, describe your first experience with using magic. What were the circumstances? Were you expecting it?
The first time Myr ever used magic she was but a child. Her uncle had sent her to bed hungry as a punishment and in the middle of the night she'd wandered into the kitchen to find something to eat. All of the cabinets were locked but atop one of them was a ceramic cookie jar. She'd stared at it longingly, climbing onto the counter to try and reach it to no avail. When she'd been just about to give up and reached a yearning hand out towards the jar, a spectral hand drifted from her outspread palm and retrieved the jar for her. She hadn't expected it of course and was somewhat startled but she'd gotten the jar. Ever sense then she'd used the mage hand to obtain items out of her reach fearlessly, constantly being scolded for it.
3) If you have an animal companion or familiar, describe how you acquired it. Describe this ally's personality, and its attitude towards you. (Loyal unto death, mischievous, lazy, etc)
Myr has no animal companions or a familiar of any type.
4) If you have any unusual possessions, describe how you acquired them. Is their value practical, monetary, sentimental or some combination of these?
Myr has nothing from her life back in Iron throne, choosing instead to forget that part of her life. Her most prized possession currently is the charm placed upon a ring given to her by her lover, Rosalyn. She is attached to the item for sentimental reasons, wearing it on her wedding finger though the fact that the ring transfers some of the injuries she takes in combat to her beloved irks her.
F: Background

Repulsed by her appearance, her mother handed her off to her uncle, an elven man owing a debt to her mother and therefor an obligation to raise her. Growing up in Iron throne wasn't easy. The city was very closed minded and racist against any races besides humans, elves and halflings. Myr spent her entire childhood hated by her uncle for what she was and hiding her true identity from the world simply to protect herself from their hatred. When she was but twenty three years of age she fell in love with a ranger by the name of Vynn. She and Vynn were together romantically for almost a year before Myr finally got up the courage to show him what she truly was. She placed faith in him that he wold love her no matter what despite her uncle's warnings that no one could love a monster as she. She should have listened to him. Upon revealing herself to Vynn, he was repulsed. He stumbled back in horror at her true form and fled from her. She spent days toiling in grief and self hatred for days.
When Vynn finally returned, it was with a mob at his back. They drug Myr kicking and screaming from her uncle's home. Her uncle tried to talk them out of it but when he was unsuccessful merely watched, feeling the girl had brought it upon herself and that the townspeople were correct in their hatred of her and their course of action. They drug her out into the streets, flinging stones and various other projectiles at her, driving her down the city streets and out the front gate where she was met by her uncle. He tossed some items at her feet, clothing, rations, a weapon, armor and other essentials and pointed her towards Avalon. He stated his debt repaid and asked that she never return or disgrace him with her presence. Full of sorrow and self loathing Myr made her way towards Avalon, becoming hardened along the way. They were right, she was a monster; but there was nothing she could do about it and so she would make herself a monster other monsters feared. She would give in to her abyssal nature and never again would her true, abominable appearance be revealed.

Upon revealing herself to Vynn, he was repulsed. He stumbled back in horror at her true form and fled from her. She spent days toiling in grief and self hatred for days.
When Vynn finally returned, it was with a mob at his back. They drug Myr kicking and screaming from her uncle's home. Her uncle tried to talk them out of it but when he was unsuccessful merely watched, feeling the girl had brought it upon herself and that the townspeople were correct in their hatred of her and their course of action. They drug her out into the streets, flinging stones and various other projectiles at her, driving her down the city streets and out the front gate where she was met by her uncle. He tossed some items at her feet, clothing, rations, a weapon, armor and other essentials and pointed her towards Avalon. He stated his debt repaid and asked that she never return or disgrace him with her presence. Full of sorrow and self loathing Myr made her way towards Avalon, becoming hardened along the way. They were right, she was a monster; but there was nothing she could do about it and so she would make herself a monster other monsters feared. She would give in to her abyssal nature and never again would her true, abominable appearance be revealed.
