Possessed Mind


When two minds work as one, their mental strength is increased exponentially. Such is the idea behind a possessed mind, who have given up full control of his body in exchange for being able to perform feats of mental power that few others can duplicate. By binding a psionic entity fully to himself, he is able to withstand even the strongest of mental assaults.

Class Features
A possessed mind can manifest the power of the entity sharing his body, increasing his mental resillience and eventually mastering his dual minds.
Manifesting: At each level beyond 1st, you gain new power points per day and an increase in manifester level (and powers known, if applicable) as if you had also gain a level in a manifesting class to which you belonged before adding the prestige class level. You do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained.
Reinforced Will (Su): Having two minds instead of one increases your mental fortitude. At 1st level, the possessed mind gains a +2 bonus on all Will saves.
Possession (Su): An entity of psychic energy binds itself to the character. The character must choose one alignment decriptor (air, earth, fire, water, good, evil, lawful or chaotic) that the entity represents. Once this choice is made, it cannot be changed. All powers with the chosen decriptor are manifested at +1 Manifester level.
Manifest Entity: The entity possessing the character manifests itself in battle once per day. The possessed mind must expend their psionic focus to use this ability. For 1 round per possessed mind level, the character treats all powers manifested with the chosen descriptor (air, earth, water, fire, evil, good, lawful, chaotic) as 2 manifester levels higher. This stacks with the permanent increase from Possession. This ability can be used twice per day at 4th level.
Manifested Will (Su): The possessed mind can channel the power of both minds, granting a temporary immunity to mind-influencing effects, and can lash out against those that attempt to influence their actions. Once per day, the character can become immune to mind-influencing effects for 1 minute. Anyone targeting the possessed mind with a mind-influencing effect during this time is lashed out against, taking 2d6 points of damage per Possessed Mind level. (Will DC 15+ Primary manifesting ability negates).
Dual Minds (Su): At 5th level, the two minds function as one, further reinforcing the character's mental fortitude. The character can expend 1 power point and expend his psionic focus to increase the effect from his Reinforced Will to a +5 bonus as an immediate action.
