Character History:
The middle child of a family of affluent merchants in Avalon. Soft spoken and often quiet with a growing taste for adventure.
A: Appearance
1) Describe yourself as someone meeting you for the first time would see you. (Race?, Gender?, Age?, Size? Coloration? Attractiveness?, Dress? Do you try to emphasize or hide any of these features?)
2) What other details would someone notice on a closer look? (Distinguishing marks, birthmarks, scars, etc?)
3) Do you have a distinctive way of speaking or any other mannerisms or memorable behavior?
- Saera's public face is that of a charming and attractive young human girl with blonde hair, gentle green eyes. Dressed in either typical therafim local fashion. Occasionally seen wearing the robes of an acolyte but to which temple is not yet obvious. Her demeanor carry a very slight hint of perhaps lost nobility or fine tutelage. Raises to be polite and proper if nothing else with a delightful laughter and a generally pleasant disposition towards others. Saera is soft spoken and often chooses her words carefully when speaking to someone less familiar.
- The other side of the coin is her hidden life. That of the Shadowspy which is kept secret from all but the most trusted high ranking members of the good churches of Therafim. Under this guise, though still of soft voice, her tones tend to be more subtle and yet direct. Few words spoken without purpose. Masking most of her appearance, her demeanor, though still reserved, is more than of a cunning assassin than a gentle city girl.
B: Birth and Family
1) Where and when were you born? (Also good to include: Do you know your exact birthdate? Did anything unusual (storms, accidents, deaths, etc?) happen about the same time, with which some people might still associate your birthdate?)

5) How did you get along with your family?
- Saera's birth remains something of a mystery to this day. Herself included. She was found by an adventuring party, curled up amidst the shells of a broken egg at the foot of the shatter mountains. The shells were warm and thus keeping the child warm and comfortable. The cleric of Ra, a hawk person, took the young girl under his wing and returned to Avalon where he placed the child under the care of the temple.
- Despite the child's apparently unusual circumstances, she appeared very much human and thus it was deemed that human foster parents were required. Becoming the middle child of a well to do family of humans residing in Avalon and earning a modest living in trade. Saera gets along well with her family. Both parents, elder sister and younger brother.
C: Education and Work
1) Did you serve an apprenticeship in order to learn your current profession/class? For how long?
2) If you were not an apprentice, how did you learn your trade/skills/ect? Formal schooling? Informal Teachers? Self-Taught?

- Saera received a rather standard education, learning the skills needed for a young woman to make a life for herself. And a few extra tricks, having spent much of her time at the docks, observing her parents as their worked and helping from time to time. Her natural talents, physical and mental, were slowly developing.
- As her talents became more apparent, the temple of Ra began watching her movements from a distance. But she had also been watching them. An inexplicable yearning as she frequently basked in the sun's warmth. Like nostalgia with no vivid memory or shades of deja vu.
- Eventually, she sought out the temple of Ra herself. Her origins nearly fading to memory, the younger priests were skeptic of a human embarrassing worship of the sun but the elders were pleased and thus, trained her as an acolyte.
- When not serving at the temple, She can often be found assisting her parents in running their business. Buying and selling, trading in various wares and supplies under their guidance. Always with a warm and welcoming smile.
D: Friends

- Friends have come and gone as she grew up. Though she would think of them more as acquaintances. To her knowledge, most are still alive to this day and retain loose contact. Growing up, she'd always been a little distant from others. Drawing are and envy from peers for her exceptional abilities. Particularly, her physical agility. A few friendships formed and endured over time but they were just that. Friends. Saera has never committed to a serious relationship and would be weary of doing so at this time. For her hidden life forces a great measure of secrecy she feels would be unfair to any potential lover.
E: Attitudes and Beliefs

- As an acolyte of Ra, Saera's beliefs are rather obvious for the most part. she believes in the sanctity of life and the afterlife. She also believes that a soul worthy enough can be granted a second life as a new creature. Spirits and elementals have a place in the world and contribute to it's ability to preserve and sustain life.
- She will not suffer the dead to rise and has a profound dislike for fiends and abberations. Her heart however is forgiving and a creature genuinely seeking redemption will not be turned away of she can help. She will not kill without reason or steal without cause. Lieing however is an indispensable part of her life. She must preserve the secret of her functions within the temple. A function which remains a secret to all but the most highly station priests of the churches of good deities.
- Saera's aptitude for magic is both limited and wondrous at the same time. Her magical power is limited to the divine magic granted to her by her faith but she possesses the ability to mold this divine power into forces uncommon and inexplicable. Having been taught to respect the power that is magic, she has a healthy dislike for magic that channels negative energy for it feels anathemic to her.

- Saera's flaws are often well hidden but her greatest secret is her double life. She maintains of proper public face, masking her hidden calling as the sun's assassin.
- Enemies are few for those who would hate her, hate the hidden identity which she conceals behind her beautiful eyes and charming smile.
G: Likes and Dislikes

- Saera loves the light of the sun, the warmth of a fire, the scent of the grass on a breezy summer day. Saera is a rather simple, quiet young lady.
- Saera hates all creatures of darkness and those who would use their powers to hurt others
- Saera's greatest fear is herself. Though unaware of her true nature and potential, she fears this. She fears what may become of her if she grows to powerful to control herself.

- Saera has always been receptive to members of other species. The bulk of her experience with non humans being elves, dwarves and hawk people.
- Magics that deal with air, fire and positive energy seem to come naturally to Saera for reasons she attributes to her devotion for Ra. This is very close to the truth for Ra does grant her her divine magic.
