Some beastfolk come from a heritage that has potent natural weapons in the form of sharp ridges, spines, or spikes that cover large portions of the being's body.
Prerequisites: Must be a beastfolk with some form of natural spikes or spines, such as bearded dragons, hedgehogs, pangolins, and porcupines.
Benefits: +1 natural armor, and the natural equivalent of wearing spiked armor at all times, dealing either 1d4 (small-size) or 1d6 (medium-size) piercing damage. This damage can be added to that of a grapple, or it can be used as a natural weapon. Those with this feat are automatically proficient with these natural spikes as though they were a light melee weapon. The spines can also be thrown as a piercing ranged weapon three times per day; using them in this fashion treats the body spines as a martial weapon. If all three of these ranged attacks are used up, the one with this feat loses the benefits of the Spiny Body feat until they regrow, which occurs after any sort of healing, natural or magical, occurs.
Note: Wearing spiked armor does not add any additional benefit to this feat - the two sources of damage overlap and do not stack.
