A long time ago, beyond the memory of all but the most ancient of beings, their existed a land known as the Forgotten Archipelago. Its true name has been lost to all time. A calamity visited this land, and in a last desperate act, the Queen of this land unleashed powerful magic that expelled the memory of this place from all but those who had been there- the world, forgot the place existed. Mapmakers unconsciously avoid drawing this area. Tomes contain nothing. For that is the Curse of the Forgotten Archipelago.
Those who have the curse removed may make normal knowledge checks in regard to this place, with a suitably high DC.
No magic beyond epic magic may remove the curse. Visiting the land removes the curse.
