The Noble Arc Family of the Witch City, Nemminus. A proud and long standing family of wizards and the occasional Sorcerer, this family has lived in the Witch City since it's founding and has always had significant pull in the government of the Council of Wands, having long been respected for their exceptional arcane bloodline.
The secrets to this house run deep however, and many rumors abound of strange practices. However, none are so foolish as to provoke their wrath with curiosity- those who are too nosy find trouble at their door with skillful and subtle magics and agents.
The current heads of the noble family is Asil Arc, with his wife, Godiva "Diva" Arc. Both are very potent wizards, and both are members of the Council of Archmagi, but have made a point of not being interested in any Great Archmage positions despite their formidable arcane powers.
They've an ancestral estate in the capital, guarded by wards and staff, though this didn't stop their children from regularly sneaking out. Their children, the young sorcerers Liadan and Seren Arc, were both quite the headache for the two parents, having been very mischievous.
As of right now, the family seems to have, in a way, "declared war" with a certain crime syndicate in the Witch City, using their influence and vast resources to curtail their activities. Reports say that the syndicate has significantly gone into hiding, not wanting to draw too much attention to themselves with the Arc's breathing down their necks at every turn.
