Quest Summary:
A nobleman's son was cursed with a horrible affliction after venturing curiously in the vastly undknown but very dangerous "Miasmes des Mort", a baleful swamp laying near the city of the undead on the continent of Crescent. Normal cure spells have no effect, so in a desperate move, the nobleman commissions five adventurers to scout into the very swamp and find whatever caused the disease plaguing his son.
Those who were familiar with the swamp were unhappy with the prospect of returning, but upon seeing the young man in torturing pain, they steeled themselves for the greater good. Once within the miasma and muck proper, they came across a great many peril, a pair of Werecrocodiles who attacked as they attempted to a cross a wide stream, infecting Silarus and Myr with their foul curse, little to their knowledge. Then, a foul cross of plant and aberrant atacked, nearly dragging Myr to a muddy grave, causing the whole team to work together desperately to save her.
However, all that aside this was nothing to the corrupting incarnate they came upon, responsible for the young man's bane, a taint elemental. It didn't take the part long to realize they had no chance against a being so foul and corrupt, and managed only to take a sample before quickly escaping back to Avalon. However, even if vanquishing the taint itself was a failure, their mission was still a success, as the priests and healers had enough information to heal the young man (and the party) of their afflictions … at least the ones they were aware of …
