Thoth appears as a tall, slender man, usually clothed in clean white linen robes, with the head of an ibis.
Dogma:
Thoth is a deity devoted to the accumulation of knowledge and enlightenment, especially in forms that can best help others to live peacefully and well. Seeking after wisdom is the chiefmost aim of his worshipers, and spreading that wisdom to others follows right after, for Thoth is a deity of teachers as much as a deity of esoteric truth-seekers.
Clergy:
The clergy of Thoth are usually devotees of knowledge themselves, and all are highly educated. His temples are repositories of lore, especially magical lore, and vast volumes of history, science and mathematics. Libraries often have a shrine to Thoth in them, and the biggest temples of Thoth are places of the highest learning.
