Physical Description:
Westley is a man of moderate height with straight, light blonde hair kept in a neat ponytail, with his bangs cut to neatly frame his face. He has no facial hair. His eyes are a bright, vivid green color and seem to glow very faintly in lower light; he attributes this to be a divine mark of Tamara. He looks quite young, with no visible scarring. His skin is quite fair, and his build is fairly skinny as if he hasn't done a lot of physical training or exercise. His face usually wears a calm smile. His ears are pierced three times; twice in the lobe and once in the cartilage. He has the symbol of Tamara, the seven-pointed star on a field of black, tattooed on his upper right arm.
He can always be found wearing robes of some sort, with varying styles and colors, but tending more toward greens and blues. However, these robes usually seem to swallow him. Under these robes he usually wears light armor with plain underclothes and sturdy leather boots. He keeps a satchel with him at all times, holding all of the materials that he travels with, and his weapons can be clearly seen on his person.
Personality Description:
Westley is a kind-hearted young man with a passion for helping others and healing the sick and injured. He has a heart of gold and will do whatever he can to help people in need. He believes firmly in the doctrines of Tamara, and will uphold them to his very last breath. He loves to see new places and experience the pure wonder of nature. However, he is quite cowardly and fears conflict. He would much rather stay away from a battle than fight in it, unless something happens to anger him. This rarely happens; typically only affronts against nature or life will provoke him in such a way. He does enjoy a nice alcoholic drink or two (or three, or twenty!) and sometimes has a problem with knowing when to stop. This is normally not a problem, as he keeps his wits about him when slightly inebriated; however, this goes out the window when he is completely and utterly trashed.
Among his favorite activities are: sleeping, snacking on fruits, and studying history and divine magic.

Character History:
Westley was born as a middle child into a rather large family in the midtown district of Avalon City. The family was quite poor, on the more impoverished end of the lower class, and his parents and siblings each worked hard to try to eke out a living in the poor district. Of course, each new child meant a new mouth to feed, so each child that came after Westley put more strain on his family. He was the fourth born to the Faolans; his three older siblings had jobs of their own, and he was helping to raise his younger sister when the sixth child was stillborn. Once the two youngest were old enough, they tended to fend for themselves on the streets by begging and stealing. Their parents were too busy working to really stop them, and they were swift enough to never be caught by guards.
A few things occurred early on in Westley's life that would mark him as different from other children, though. He started to show a few signs of being proficient with magic. Odd things would happen around him, such as his ability to heal very minor wounds very quickly, creating small flashes of light, and claiming that certain things glowed at times. The final sign showed a few years later on; his eyes began to glow, dimly at first but brightening ever so slightly over time. It was only noticeable in the dark, but it was something that many people easily noticed. It hindered his ability to steal a bit, but he kept pressing on despite his better judgement.
Something would happen, though, that would change Westley's life forever. He attempted to steal from a priest of a local temple. He didn't know that the man was a priest, but would soon find that out after he was caught. The priest, however, was touched by the two of them and offered to buy them some food and accompany them to their home. After a wonderful dinner, the priest finally brought his ulterior motives to light: he wanted to take the two youngest children and raise them in the temple that he was a member of. Their family was shocked, though eventually agreed to let the priest take Westley and his sister to his temple. The two children resisted at first, though found that life at the temple of Tamara was much better than the impoverished life they'd been leading from the beginning.
Westley and his sister spent the rest of their childhoods and young adult lives in the temple, learning the ways of the clerics and priests of Tamara. He learned the errors of his ways along with how he could help others, and he seemed to take to it very well. He was much better at it than stealing, at least. He spent many years there, training and learning, before he was certified as an official cleric of Tamara.
